Not sure how it would work with you wanting to do midwifery. Have you looked to see if Midwifery is one of the professions that Australia requires at the mo - or done the points test. Maybe you could go out on a longer visa? I went through a company called Visa First who were really helpful, you an chat to them online also. Hope this kind of helps?!
