Financial Requirements
Hello everyone, having been on a holiday/fact finding break to australia i am determined to find a way to migrate permanently to this beautiful country on my retirement. The free on-line agent's assessments are asking me for a figure of the capital available to take with me. Does anyone know what the minimum amount is? I am 51years old, in perfect health and no police record. I am left with the impression that the value of my assets is the stumbling block?
Ideally i would like to start up a business in Australia but if this was not possible and if i qualified, i would emigrate on a retired person's visa.
I wonder if anyone could spare the time to shed any light on this please?
Kind regards to all,
Peter

Hi Peter
If you go on www.immi.gov.au you may find the information you need on there. This site should provide details of the various visa options and what you need to qualify. I used this site when applying under sub class 175 General skilled migration.
Hope it helps.
