Hello everyone ...

I'm very glad to join this forum, and I'm so sorry that I hadn't joind it long time ago.

I've lodged my 175 visa application on June 2008. I received the acknowldment and BCC number in the same month. Since then I'm keeping an eye on the visa processing time line through aspc.processing@immi.gov.au.

It's been three months since I lodged my visa, and ASPC hasn't moved one day to process 175 visas; they are stuck on 19-Sep-2007. If they contineu at this pace, it is not likely that they would finish the visa processing in 15 months !!

So, does anyone know how they are processing, do they progress day-by-day, or they just make big hops and moves one month at a time ??

Hi!
If you have a look on BeUpdate website, most people in March are getting theirs!
For online 175 visas anyway!
So you cant really tell..... even someone who applied in April has theirs!

I thought I should keep track on those emails to send the PC & medicals just before a Case officer is assigned; so that I can save time.

we are on the same boat. i've applied mine on 2nd July 2008 and check my email multiple times in a day and email aspc every tuesday morning. but it seems like its forever to move the processing time update pass the current 7/12/2007. what is happening?

The most resonable answer I got is : this counter means that ALL applications lodged before 7/12/2007 are currently assigned to a case office, regardless of the country you are applying from, or the personal circumstances, ALL applications are beeing processed now. Still, some later applcations could be in process too ! so don't panic. But the point is that you should panic if you see that this counter has overtake your application date and you haven't been contaced by any case officer yet.

that true somehow if we interprete the update email carefully. from beupdate there are peoples way ahead of Dec 2007 have been assigned with a CO and some have granted their visa. so we all hope for the best. cheers..
