Including passport with spouse visa

Hi there just wondering when sending off for the defacto visa if your actual passport whould be included or just a certified copy. I was under the impression that a visa sticker goes in the passport so thought you included the whole passport not just a certified copy.

u send a certified copy and once granted the AHC will request your passport. Dont send it till they ask you never know it could get lost and that would be tragic...

no, only send a certified copy, they will give you a file ref no and a name to send it to once you have been granted your visa.
