I am interested to know what qualification people passed on with out having to do a RPL.

I have been told that they only recognize MCSE, MCPD, CLP, and CNE.

Has anyone passed with anything less ?

Does the A+ and N+ hold any kind of value ?

Hi, not sure if this help,

I passed ACS assesment early this year,

without any the qualifications you mentioned above.

I only held cisco's CCNP, CCDP, CCIP.

with 7 years work experience, bachelor degree of math & science (non IT).

I believe the key is on work experience & references.

Hi TurboPaul,

If you don't mind me asking where did you find out the info about the qualifications the ACS recognise. I have been looking around the web but can't seem to find anything and was wondering whether OH had to do an RPL? I am really happy to see your post as my OH has an MCSE.

Thanks, BushBaby

Hi, My oh has just passed the ACS rpl. He does not have a degree but work related qualifications such as CCNP etc.

Have you tried emailing them and asking them direct????

There are couple of IT bods on her who have done the ACS without the RPL. The Bee Family, is the first bods that spring to mind. Maybe if you pm them, they might be able to help.

Also there is social group on here called IT WAGS, (Wives and Girlsfriends of IT Geeks), but all IT bods welcome to join, I think you will find the Bee Family on there.

Good Luck

I have spoken to lots of agents to get that info.

That list of certificates were given to me from http://www.1stcontact.com

I want to complete my MCSE but i am finding it hard to get the time to study as i have 101 things to do, as i work 2 jobs.

I have been told from quite afew agents that if you have MCSE then it is easy as they recognise it. But i would guess you would need work experience with that also.

If you have any other questions i can help with i would be happy to try and answer.

OK back to the jigsaw that is planning Aus move (before paying agent too much money)
