We did it ourselves! Had to do Stat Decs as his boss wouldn't co-operate & do a letter for us. First Stat Dec we detailed what he does currently, machinery he uses, techniques etc, but what the TRA need is detailed info on HOW he got trained, number of hours etc. He didn't do apprenticeship, (it was 15 years ago!), so we detailed his 'formal training'. IE names of people who trained him, on what, for how long, & got a couple of letters signed by colleagues who trained him, confirming what they'd done - plus a few certificates for formal training on new machinery they had (eg CNC punching machine, press brakes etc) it was a phaff, but we got there in the end!
