subclass 176 applicants.???????...

Hello

Our Migrant Agent contacted us today to advise everything has been met...apart from the Case Officer says that the information I have provided on my job role and responsiblities (i.e. reference from my employer) is insufficient!

He is now requesting I provide in detail my role and responsibilities covering the last four years in my own words and also any evidence from my employer to prove this. I have four years worth of salary increase letters but they do not say..."now you're doing this this and this...we're going to increase your salary"

Is there anyone out there who has been asked this similar additional information when applying...I'm worried that if they deem what I provide as insufficient, we won't be granted the visa.

Any feedback much appreciated.

Hi we applied for a 176 (Queensland) in the first week of Jan 08 still waiting a case officer we spoke to Australia House London and they told us that it was taking between 6-9 months. The waiting is very frustrating.

Hi, we have applied for a 176 to Victoria, we lodged on the 22nd Feb. For the last 5 months our status has said processing commenced We have booked our meds for the 18th so hopefully things will start moving. Just need to sell our apartment

I submitted my 176 visa on the 06 March 08
Have state sponsorship to Queensland
Checked on-line status and it says processing commenced which it does as soon as you submit your application. Booked medicals for end of September 9 (In France).

I had filed my application on the 26th april,2008 under visa class 176 (sponsored by NSW).My medicals were finalised on the 28th July,2008, PC submitted during May 2008. So the wait begins , my agent says it may take 7 - 9 months to get a CO.

Where are you from. pls keep in touch and all the best.......

Hi well things have moved a lot for us since the last time i posted.
Had meds on the 18th every thing went alright.
Our page turned to , further processing commenced on the 19th
Sent all our receipts and police checks to agent on the 23rd.
Got an email from agent on the 25th to say we have been allocated a CO
4th Sept got a phone call to say we had sold our apartment in Turkey
OH flew out on Sun night to sign over the deeds
Just got to sell horse now
Read on other posts people who lodged in April have been getting their visa's

hi glen.... well i am from india and i applied my visa in july 2008..i shall be now doing my medicals as well as police checks next week... i have heard that the proccessing has reached to jan april 2008 applicants..is this true? i heard they have got thier CO and some even thier VISA'S..... i dunno abt myself and my hubby as we come from india.... and i heard this is a high risk country...it cud delay... do u have any idea how long cud it delay?
