Spouse visa processing time????

Hi everyone!

Could anyone tell me how long it can take for a spouse visa to be granted?
I lodged my application at Australia House,London.
I asked for my application to be considered for a permanant spouse visa.

I posted mine today and was informed 12 weeks

Have a look at my time scale didnt take long at all posted mine to London Australia House too.

P.S Pm me if you want any advice on anything no how stressfull and nerve racking it can be waiting for that visa.

My Hubby got his in 10 weeks. He was granted a PR (together 17 yrs, married 14, 2 kids)

Hi LaLa am new to this site. I just got my passport back this morning with my permanent residency visa. Sent off my spouse application to Australia House about three or four weeks ago - was very quick. If you have children together you will get PR.

Hi LaLa spouse visa is one of the quickest, we lodged on the 10th july with Australia house and submitted everything together, ie police checks, husbands medicals etc, it then came back granted last tuesday the 29th! just have to send valid British passport to them now for validation.Worth mentioning for others though that it is only valid for 12 months from the date of the medicals, which for us means we only have until the end of feb 09 to either be living in oz or have the visa stamped. Again like others we have been married for 12 years and have 2 children so we have been granted a permanent one. best wishes Emma

My timeline is;
26th May - front loaded application hand delivered
30th May - Assigned C/O.
I was told they are waiting on my medicals as they were sent to Sydney.
Asked to send more evidence for a PR visa.
2nd June - More evidence sent to C/O.

I haven't heard anything since then.....

I have been with my husband for nearly 3years and we have a 1 year old daughter.
My husband has to return to OZ by October 2008 so I'm just getting a little impatience now!!

I know exactly how you feel, we had our flights already booked to leave here on the 08th Oct so was a very anxious time waiting to hear. Good luck to you

i'm hoping for a speedy response we are going the 23rd oct and i'm sending mine off this week - it will be front loaded and its very detailed so hopefully should be straight forward....
