Spouse Subclass 820 Visa

Hi,Im a bit confused here about fees.If the fees for a subclass 820 have already been paid,2 years down the line when you need to apply for the subclass 801 part,is there another fee to be paid to DIAC?

No, You pay upfront for all including the paperwork & application after the 2 year wait

I'm with Stuju - there shouldnt be any further fees to pay.

We have been fortunate tho' in that OH was granted PR straight off so wont need further processing.

GOOD LUCK !

Interested,
To obtain pr for a spouse straightaway, im sure its you have to have been together 5 years - i know hubby & i only missed out by a year (2nd marriages) also you have to have a dependent child, but there is a defintion of this on the immi site, being natural, step, adopted etc, but for somereason immi did not think we qualified even thou my hubby is step father to my 3 girls. Guess its a bit like taking a driving test, depends which side of the bed the examiner got out of !!!!!

I have a baby (my wife does!) due in march and have only been on spouse visa for approx 6 months.
Will this make me eligable to push forward for PR or will i still need to wait the 2 years b4 applying for 2nd part of spouse visa?

I really think it all depends on the time of application & who is in charge of your migration application, as cj post above seems a little unfair that her friend got a pr straight away & cj has to wait. Its a bit like taking a driving test - just depends on what side of the bed the examiner got out of that day !!!!
