Hi and welcome to PIO
I'm using an agent based in london he's an Australian solicitor and migration agent, and he is fantastic. If you would like to PM me i will pass on his contact details. He is a very approachable guy and would point you in the right direction.

Hi Jon & family

Welcome to Poms in Oz.

I suspect that Davyone means Sammy Naghi:

Taylor Hampton Solicitors: Australian migration law specialists based in London

He does have the weight of a pretty beefy firm of English solicitors behind him. Everyone who has used Mr Naghi sings his praises, though I have never had any dealings with him myself so this is hearsay. I've no idea of his fees.

Look around the forums and phone several (including Mr Naghi) before you make a decision, I would suggest. Obviously when 50 people say that the XYZ firm are ace, it is unlikely that they are wrong.

Best wishes

Gill

Claretjon is on a distinguished road
We're just about to appoint Sammy.

He charges £1800 + VAT payable in 2 instalments. £900 when you appoint him & the balance after you get your positive skills assesment.

He's also a qualified lawyer so can certify all your paperwork. Have found him to be extremely helpful & knowledgeable

Exclamation Visa Bureau - Fast, Efficient, no Complaints!

We are more than happy to recommend Visa Bureau, they were extremely efficient & we got our Visa in around 7 months, 136 Skilled Independent with de facto, & we weren't straightforward!

Good Luck = still be prepared for a lot of hard work, & if they are not asking for loads of paper-work by way of evidence going back 10 years, you need to be suspicious! Any way you look at it, it's not easy, even with an Agent! Sorry!
Cheers,

Hi Jon & Emma

We used Global Visas and found them to be very good - final result they got our visas, and we weren't straight forward.

Sammi Naghi, who has been mentioned in this thread too, was our agent with Global Visas for a while, though he did leave before our case was finished, so Yes, I would recommend to speaking to him aswell!
