Did you track them when you sent them?

Ok we sent ours of mid December and they were cleared by mid January, considering it was Xmas time I thought this was very good. So hopefully not long guys and you will see the 'finalised' word and you will be another step closer to your hopes and dreams x

Ask the medical centre which courier they used or was it Royal Mail Signed For? A courier should have gave them a tracking number and then you can track where your post are and if they have been delivered and signed for in Australia. I have a feeling though if they used the Royal Mail Signed for then you can only track your documents upto leaving England.

Hopefully by another couple of weeks you may see your medicals on the 'finalised' status

Good luck

It wil just give you an idea if they have received them, as I am not saying this will happen to you but some people on here have had their docs stuck at customs and lost !

It takes at least 10-14 days for your blood tests to come back from the labs and your x-ray results before the meds will be sent off, then around a week for them to get to Aus by post, then can take 4-6 weeks for them to be cleared in Sydney.

Relax ! it will be a lot longer than 2 weeks before you hear anything, and if you ring up they can't tell you anything until they're on the system, ours were done 1st March and cleared by 14th April so if you worked on around 6 weeks from when the meds were done, that would probably be about right.

Dont' worry, and use the time to do something like organising removals etc etc !

We used docs in Harley Street and he phoned us the next day which was a Sunday with our blood test results. Very quick

hi siblin

just to let you know our experience

our meds were done 28apr08 the following week they were posted by courier (which we paid around £60 for - directly to the doctor that did them). we got the tracking number from the doctors surgery and followed the progress on the internet all the way to sydney - where they arrived by the end of that week.

they then need to go from sydney to the aspc eventually - which i never tried to track on the internet - dont know if you can. anyway from here we just asked through our agent if they were where they needed to be so that our application could be processed further (as when we did have the meds done our doctor had mentioned that case officers were calling up asking for people to be sent for their meds who had in fact already been - this was something to do with them being stuck in sydney when they should in fact be at the aspc) our agent confirmed they were with aspc and they were finalised by the 22may08. if you do not have an agent - and if you have applied on line - check on the diac website on the query application staus page for the word finalised next to the meds

all in all - for us anyway - everyone will be so different (as you can no doubt tell from the way they are granting visas at the minute!) about 4 weeks so you have no worries but as i said there are checks you should be able to do to trace the progress to keep your mind at peace.

hope that wasnt too long winded

good luck
sjs

Rocker is on a distinguished road
Sent on 28th April, Received on 25th May. Online status still says "Outstanding".. I have sent an email to health centre and they said they have dont the processing. But when i check my online status it still says "Outstanding"...

Gill told me that they have different systems. Some are integerated with eVisa system and some are not. If your result is entered in the one that is not integerated then your medical status will changed when the CO is assigned.
