Qualification Assessment via Vetassess

Hi can any one help, we have applied for a qualifications assessment through Vetassess we know this can take up to six weeks, we are doing this ourself and not through an agent for this stage.

How are we informed of the decision? Do we get sent paperwork or just emailed a reference number etc.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris

My Vetassess results took 10 weeks to come. I chased them up with an email on a Thursday night (Friday am aussi time) and when I checked my status on the Vetassess website on the Satuday the status had changed from 'active' to 'positive'. On Monday morning a letter arrived in the post from AUstralia with my positive confirmation. It must have been assessed way before they updated the website though.

Hi Chris, we did our VETASSESS (using a fab agent based in Brisbane). Check out my timescales for VETASSESS on my signature, for the assessment it all happened pretty qucikly ...however...our agent heard everything way before we heard anything! But yes we got an email to confirm we were on the April's assessment (the paper copy never arrived through the post!) - I emailed to chase it..however, they said things sometimes do get 'lost' in the post!!!

My friend had to wait a while before she heard if her OH was sucsessful in qualifying to go through to the assessment stage, and we figured that VETASSESS wait until close to a closing date of the assessment.... to judge/see how many applicants/trades they have...then let you know.

It is a new-ish system and I know there have been teething problems. We never heard from VETASSESS after my OH had done his assessment...however....our agent emailed to congratulate us about 6 weeks later that he'd passed!! Yay!!

Again...never heard a thing from VETASSESS....chased them re. his certificate and confirmation he had passed...they said it had been posted out weeks ago and that they didn't email assessment results!

And yet again...we never got a thing through the post!!!

Luckily...that's were our agent came in...she cahsed it...and got results. We now have confirmation & the certificate to say OH passed!

Long winded way...but we got there in the end.
