hi my name is marie i hope someone can help me,my husband 2daughters and i came to australia in january on my husbands 457 visa the company who sponcered him called hhim in on friday and told him they had no more work for him and had to let him go they give him a months notice but said he didn't have to work it.can they do this.we spent about 15,000 pounds to get out here left 2 good jobs and sold our house for less than it was worth now it seems we have to go back with nothing

i would call an agent up for some advice ,,quick.I dont know much about these visas but it may be possible to get another company to take over th sponsership,i personally would go for some proffesinol advice.
I am going to move this post into the migration section as we do have some agents that pop in there quite a bit,,

thanks for your quick reply husbands going to look for another job tomorrow and see if someone will take over the sponsership i'm really homesick anyway so just feel like giving up can't believe we took the biggest gamble of our lives and it ended like this
