Hi Suz,

For once I can actually help someone.

I sent my TRA off two weeks ago and I got my cheque from Barclays bank they call it an international bank draft & as with everything to do with the aus adventure they charge £20.

My payment was accected by the TRA so this means the draft was fine.
If you have an account with them then you dont need to produce your passport.

Hope this helps.

Mark

we used Hifx too, all done over the phone and they sent the cheque direct to the agent for us, so no messing about, and yes you are right they dont charge any commision at all, when we did ours it worked out about £140, they were really friendly and helpful too, so would defo recommend them, if you go on line first and sign up it makes it really easy, they ring you within about 10 mins and take your card details and agents name and thats it done and sorted!
