457-to-856, Pregnant & Visa GRANTED

Hi All,

Just a quick message to say that yesterday we had our 856 PR granted

This came a total shock as we were under the impression that we would have to wait until the wife could be X-Ray'd after the birth, however we clearly had a case officer that took into consideration that we have been in Aus for almost 4yrs and haven't come from or been to any high risk TB prone countries.

We are over the moon...PR at last! This means with the baby due on 19th August, it will automatically be a 'true Aussie'!

FYI - we sent our application to Brisbane office on 15th Feb - all front loaded - 856 granted yesterday!
