Hello.....

Me and my partner are moving to Sydney in 4 weeks time........cant wait!!!

Can somone please help me as to the best shipping company to use to ship our belongings over, we have very little stuff to take........

Any help will be great.

We used Crown Relocations to bring our 10 boxes of stuff over and they were very good. It was a door to door service and our goods arrived ahead of schedule and all intact

Hi Emma

We have Pickfords coming on 23 June. The intially came to see us back in October 07 and quoted us £3670 + insurance. We got our Visa couple of weeks ago so rang same fella and he came out on Monday and had another look at our bits and pieces. The good news is that their prices have gone down due to the fact the moving market is very slow so they are all trying to undercut one another. Our quote is now £3500 + insurance. Not much lower but better than nothing. We have worked out our insurance will not be any more than £500.

We are using Pickfords as in all the years we moved all over the world as a family we always used them. They have a branch in Perth which is where we are going and the rep we have been using has been absolutely brilliant.

By all means get other quotes as there are alot of companies out there who will probably do it cheaper, but we are very, very pleased with Pickfords.

We also used Crown Relo and they were great ,infactwe have used them twice and i wouldnt hesitate to use them again ,They arent the cheapest but are definately one of the best in my opinion.
