Hi All,
I wonder if anyone could give me an idea of a good agent to use.
I don't think our case is going to be straightforward and was looking for recommendations/experiences from anyone out there.
There are absolutely loads of agents on the internet, but if I ring them up they're not really interested because we're not a straightforward case.
Any help would be appreciated. PM me if you like.
Our case wasn't really straightforward and plenty of other agents had already said no to us. We found quite a few agents work on a 'no visa no fee' basis so they only take on cases that are 100% sure to pass the requirements. With Ian Harrop we had to make a part payment upfront, but only once we'd passed the Skills Assessment, then paid the rest in instalments. Very helpful and professional - couldn't have done it without them!
Best wishes,
Jo

Hi
Our application wasn't straightforward because my husband was less than 3 mnths away from his 45th, so we didn't have enough points, and the IELTS, which would have given us the points, was not being sat here in N. Ireland until after his birthday. I rang about 8 different agents and they wouldn't entertain us, all saying there was no way we could make it. However, the moment I spoke to the guy we're with now, he didn't see a problem and said he was sure we'd make it on time, and we did, with a month to spare!
He helped us with everything, and managed to get us State Sponsorship to make up the points within days.
I can't recommend him highly enough and he has a 100% success rate. He's an Australian solicitor based in London, and a registered migration agent. His name is Sammy Naghi, let me know if you're interested in his contact details.
Best wishes
Sheena

Hi Sheena,
If you could PM me his details that would be great thanks. We really need somebody who understands that not everyone will be straightforward.

Hi, We too are another Go Matilda user. The MD of the company even posts on here, I do believe they too are use to dealing with all sorts of cases and will help to sort out most problems.

Hi
We are not a straight forward case and like you, all the agents we contacted either said no chance or told us to go for a student visa. We are using Thinking Australia and are applying for a 175 visa. Darrell, the boss, will give you a 1 hour face to face consultation free of charge.
Hi,
Thanks to everyone for your messages and PM's
I'm a bit more hopeful now that we will get there somehow.
I'll be contacting those agents this week and will let you all know how I get on.
I'm really glad I found this website, it's full of useful info and its great to talk to people going through the same process.
