Urgent-Online application!!

Could anyone tell when do I have to submit the passport if I apply for visa online. I am applying for 457 visa but have sent off my passport for Schenghen visa (like a moron). I am soooooo cross with myself

hi ya,if you get your 457 visa you do not need to send your passport off, you will get a email saying " your name" " may travel to australia without the need to have visa in passport"
thats what we did! you just need to go and get visa put in passport within 3 months of arriving in oz!!!
so dont worry!!!

hi we just printed the visa paperwork off and took it to the airport with our passports .. didn't send it off at all.
