I am planning to move out early next year and have just applied for state sponsorship in advance of applying for a 176.
I have just been offered a job and my prospective employer, whilst indicating that they may be prepared to wait for my 176 to come through, wants to sponsor me with a view to coming out earlier. They recognise that a temporary visa has its disadvantages such as having to pay for healthcare and possibly school fees, so they have said they will put together a relocation package and also sponsor me for PR.
My question is does anyone know what the pros and cons of this would be. I don't really want to be pressured into coming out before I'm ready, but on the other hand if the relocation package and offer of sponsorship makes it advantageous to do so, should I grab it?
Has anyone else been in this position or able to advise on this?
