vetassess joiner test- april

hi

my husband is going for his test in april, just wondering if any one knows the exact tools he has to take. he is a joiner and on the list it just says hand tools and power tools. (even though we were told every thing will be supplied.)

do they know how many tools a joiner has.

it will be helpful if any one knows.
so he doesnt end up taking his whole van.

debs

Hi Debs,

My husband is also doing his practical in April, he's a carpenter and like your husband has loads of tools. I have emailed VETASSESS to ask what specific power tools he has to take, but am still waiting for them to reply, I will put up a post when I hear anything.

Hi, I phoned my agent after not getting a reply from vetassess direct, and she phoned them in Melbourne. She was informed that it is personal choice for you to take your own tools, as it was mentioned in the first test that people were wishing they took their own tools, but I am still a bit weiry of this and very confussed now, so OH is just going to take things he thinks he will need to do the tasks that are listed on the form of things he may have to do.
Sorry if not much help, thought would let you know what I heard, but would love to hear if someone else gets confirmation of this too.
Thanks.
Andi.
