Medicals....Where are they?

can anyone help???
We had our medicals done 3oth jan. we have contacted the hospital who have confimed that they were posted to LCU Sydney 11th feb..... Tracking refference just says ...sent to australia,....so....where are they?
Spoke to lady at the hospital and she says that there seems to be a 14 week delay? Has anyone else heard anything? Do I contact LCU to see if they have been received? If so what's there contact details?

Surely 14 weeks isn't the norm????

Did the doctors send them by courier or Royal Mail if by royal mail its a little more difficult to track down I am led to believe.

Ours were sent by courier and we, by looking at the couriers website could tell who signed for them and what time and date.

When we were going through this the wait time was 6 weeks it wouldn't surprise me if by now it was 14, unfortunately.

Did you apply online if you did I believe you can check the same way using a TRN number.

thanks for your reply. We are with an agent ASA. they have been dealing with everything, so have no TRN number nothing as they have always dealt with it all. Guess I'll have to contact them again!! I just feel like I'm being a nuisance and should just sit nicely and wait but it's soooooo hard. as we haven't sold the house yet, i know there's no rush, just waiting is so frustrating specially as there is nothing we can do!!!

Hi Lui,
We are in a simular position here too. Our meds sent by Airsure not courier as the private Dr insisted that this was the best way to send them and said that we would get a tracking number but didn't tell us that it only told us that the parcel had been passed over to oversea's postal service for delivery in Australia, which is NO use to us as we obviously still don't know if it has even been delivered. And there is no way of finding out apparently as i phoned our migration agent and explained and they said you can't contact DIMA for at least 8 weeks, not funny when all you seem to do is wait!! So i supose we will have to hope for the best but i have heard of peoples meds going missing so it is a bit of a worry!!
Hope you hear something soon, our meds were sent on the 20th Feb so have only been gone 2 weeks so am not impacient for the visa's but it would be comforting to know that the meds had arrived safe and sound! Good luck and hope you hear something really soon x Alison x

thanks for reply. Just sometimes it's nice to know there are othes out there in the same boat. I.m going to contact our agent again today so i'll keep you all posted.

Lui, have you got a case officer yet?

We are using an agent or were and when we received our CO we got all the file numbers etc that they received from our CO, our agent sent us a copy of everything that they got.

Have you got the same?

Congratulations on receiving your visas .just wondered how long it taken from madicals and pcs been sent to getting the nod . We sent our meds Jan 10th and pcs Jan 21st ,any idea

Hi again Kaye,
we haven't got a CO yet. Do you think this is why our medicals have not been dealt with??? Our agents requested us to do our police checks and medicals following instructions from DIMIA??? I so have no idea about what's going on anymore. I have sent an email to my agent. All I want is to know they have arrived safe and sound and that someone will buy our house for the full asking price and win the lottery and eat what i want without putting on weight and the list goes on and on.....(lol)......it's a good job I don't want much!!!!

We are using ASA also.They have been excellent up untill now.I think its just us getting frustrated with waiting.But we now have a CO.Yippee!!!! If you want any info PM us .

Our meds were sent and arrived at the end of October, they were cleared the beginning of December.

We had a request at end of December for more info because our son was 18 and they needed to know he was dependant on us, this info arrived the middle of january visa granted 3rd March.

Our pc's were sent ages ago the problem with front loading means we have to be there by May 16th.

I am being led to believe that once meds are cleared and sent to CO it is taking about 8 weeks.

But clearing meds maybe taking 14 weeks ours was aboubt 5/6 weeks.

Ps Don't you find it funny them censoring S****horpe I understand why, but may have a word with Tim
