Wow! Your 856 application is going like a train!! I do recall Tony Coates telling Billy & I that 856 applications can be very quick but I did not realise that he meant this fast!

Fantastic news! Have you been asked to get the meds done? If so, ehen will they be?

Hi Gill

No not yet with the meds. Our agents called us last week to say that we had a aknowledgement & she would sent it out in the post to us. So we got it today with Case Officers name woohooo. Wasn't expecting that one. We just thought they had aknowledged receipt of application.

Hi Janette

It is still brilliant news though because it won't take the CO long just to re-check the details of your 457 application and check the details of your new application. The two must be almost identical, after all, and the information is all on the database (DIAC's pride & joy!)

I think you might hear about the meds pretty quickly - maybe as little as 2-3 weeks. I believe you have to go to Health Services Australia for the meds. Please see here:

Looks like you will need to go to Hay St? Is that in the middle of the CBD somewhere?

It might be worth giving them a ring to find out how promptly they can see people once the meds are required.

Please keep us all updated - just ANY developments, OK?!!!

By the way, will you lose your Internet access for weeks when you move or can that all be arranged so that it will be up & running as soon as you move in?

Great minds Yes I was going to phone them tomorrow to see how long the wait is for meds. There is one in Hay St & Murray ST so might give my CO a call tomorrow to see when shes likely to ask for them.

Hmmm dont know if or when we are moving now.
