Thumbs up Nurse training in Oz and Visa

Hi all,
yet another question, would I be able to apply for a visa if i went for my nurse training (EN) .Would this be classed as a student Visa.Iv been nursing for twenty years but never became reg.I have alot of training within my nurse roll and also an NVQ 2 and 3.
I am 40 this year,it was just another thought of how to get me and my family into oz my OH is a painter but until they do something with pathway D we stuffed really unless we get some responce from expo this month.
God I go on I always get side tracked. So if any body any info of web sights I could go on I would be very greatful, its mainly to no if I would get sponserd to do my training. Hoping to go round Gold coast but a bit inland.
Thanks again Gwen

connaust is an unknown quantity at this point
Just a quick one, you do not apply for a student visa then look at a course to do.

You first find course place, receive offer, pay required amount then they send you Confirmation of Enrolment which is used to do visa online.

You can transfer credit for previous training and experience under RPL i.e. recognition of prior learning.

Cheers Andrew

In WA Murdoch University, Edith Cowen uni and Notre Dame Uni all have nursing students - email them and enquire about overseas training.
