Medical question - colitis / chron's

Hi,

I am looking at moving to Oz on a partner visa, the OH is Australian. I have Ulcerative Colitis too and have found the information on the forum interesting. I am concerned about not getting in, but others seem to be ok so fingers crossed

Any tips on how to get through the medical, do you need all your old health records sent along?

Hi,
Went for medicals on 457 yesterday.
Dr quotes that any temp visa will be OK with colitis. Only chest x-ray required for TB check if from SA. No medicare on 457's.
PR visa will require full med report from your specialist physician.
Boils down to wether it will cost the medical system $ to have you there, if not then no problem.
