PGCE and NQT Year

Hi,
I think I already know the answer to this but to be sure......
I'm retraining as a secondary school teacher and am about to complete my PGCE. I'm planning on doing my NQT year in UK but are there any adantages to doing it in OZ and indeed is it possible to do so? We're planning a move to Brisbane but due to NQT year commitments I may have to stay here with the kids and send hubby ahead on his own!!!!!!
Please put me out of my misery, at least until the next risis comes along.

From what I can work out, are you going on a visa with your husband's skills? I know you'd need experience in the UK if you were applying for your skills to be recognised as the main applicant - not sure for secondary applicant - but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be able to give more info.

Good luck on your PGCE. What's your subject?
