457 visa - Any need for an agent?

Hi,

Started applying for jobs now due to all this pathway d boll***s. Can't be bothered to wait any longer!

Just wondering if applying for a 457 is basically form filling or is there more to it? It seems fairly cheap to do it on your own compared to agents fees.

Cheers for any help.

Andy

Hi Andy

We did ours without an agent. We applied online and scanned our documents in. If you have a colour scanner don't need to get documents certified either. I think we spent just under a £1000 which included fees, medicals, medical reports (dodgy knee) . This was for a family of four. We found it pretty easy to do. My advice would be save you money and do it yourself.

Good luck

hi guys, we are going on a sponsored 457 and the company that is sponsoring my hubby started the ball rolling there end and we had to wait about 2 days before we could upload all the documents needed which was quite easy, total cost was (family of 4) meds £350, police checks £20, visas fee £ 75,
hope this helps?
sheena :)
