Question tras

this is going to sound silly but what is a tra, what does it stand for/ WE HAVE NOT YET FILLED IN FIRST FORMS BUT ALREADY I FEEL i am slost with the terms used. help please gail and mark

Fancy seening you here! lol!
I think TRA stands for Trades Recognition Australia, one of the authorities who do the skills assessments. It will tell you on the MODL list who will be the authority you need to get your skills assessed by, just look under Mark's occupation. I was ANMC (Nursing), so dont have much of a clue about others, sorry! I'm sure someone else who's used them will give you more info!

I thought it was the Third Reich Authority - they are difficult to deal with, never request further documentation they just approve or refuse on what you send them first-up, change rules after receiving your application, just generally all-round nice people.
