Just a quick question to all you knowledgeable people out there.
We as a family are living on the Gold Coast ,here on a Student Visa,my wife is studying.
We have followed the visa requirements fully following the 20hr rule for working.
My Question is,
If I buy into a established successful Australian Business,with proven ownership interest,can I apply for the Business Visa,subclass 845?
Yes you can subject to many requirements - some of which are:
You must have owned the business for at least 18 months when you apply for the 845;
You must own net assets in the busienss of at least A$100K throughout the prevuious 12 months prior to the 845 application;
You must have total net assets in Australia of at least A$250K throughout same 12 month period
You must show that you were managing the business on a day-to-day basis and making the big decisions
You must meet the passmark for the business skills points test
Engage an Agent on the ground who can make sure you are going to meet the requirements from teh start of your business
Regards
