De facto visa...Help! Another Update!
My visa has been granted!!!! The High Commission rang today to advise my visa had been granted & apologise that it had been delayed. They even offered to change the intial entry date which as far as I'm aware is not something they usually offer.
So excited! Get to see my girlfriend!!!!

Thank-you. Yeah I can't wait, I even told them not to bother changing the initial entry date as I'm practially on the next plane out there!

Hey, Congratulations ! That's fantastic news - my application dates etc are similar so I'm keeping my fingers crossed mine will be through soon

Aug 4 2007 - Interdependency application lodged. Aug 16 - CO allocated. Oct 10 - Police Checks, Meds & character assesment sent. Nov 13 - Further Meds requested by new CO. Jan 25 2008 - Final Med report (hypothyroid) sent. Feb 26 - permanent visa granted !!! (defacto partner subclass 110). March 17 2008 Arrived in Sydney :)
