I just submitted my online application. Im under subclass 886 (Skilled – Sponsored visa). I have a concern regarding the evidence of relationship with my sponsor who is my full sister. The checklist says: "You must provide birth and marriage certificates which demonstrate that you and your sponsor or your sponsor and your parents (if you are sponsored by your aunt or uncle) have the same parents."
It is understandable I must submit the birth certificates of my sister and me to demonstrate that we have the same parents. But what about marriage certificates? I dont know whose marriage certificates i need to submit. Can anyone help me?
My understandnig is that you must only sumbit your birthday certificate (a certified copy of, not the original) and your sisters. It should be obvious from the two certificates that you are brother and sister as the entry for father and mother should be exactly the same. IF however that one of you were born before your mother got married and/or changed her name, and the name is different, then a copy of your parents wedding certificate is needed.
