French or English??

Hi everyone,

We are English but have been residents in France for the past 4 years. Do we apply as French or English residents? Has anyone else resident in France done this before? I would appreciate your help! Regards, Caroline.

Sorry don't know the answer, but are you a french subject or citizen? I would guess you would apply as a British Citizen, but you'd need police checks from both France and England

Hi, we are French residents (but not French nationals). My Husband holds both French and English passports as his family are originally from France. He could apply either way I suppose. Myself and our 4 children are all holders of British passports. If there is anyone out there already in OZ or moving there (from France) who could help, your advice would be much appreciated! I know this is a long shot....but I am hoping someone reads this who's been in the same situation. Regards, Caroline.
