Nope! Some immigration agents are saying it is imminent, others saying that they are not holding their breath for it to reappear even in July.
Not only is it frustrating having to wait, it is double frustrating not knowing if anything can be put in place ready for the new pathway as nobody has a clue what requirements will be needed.
As for Locksmithing - it is on the MODL as it is impossible to satisfy the criteria to have a successful skills assessment - so if nobody can pass TRA then of course it will be an occupation in demand!!
Just a case of waiting....you, me and probably thousands of others....
OK - next occupation on our list that we are going to pursue in the context of workplace assessments/AQF Certificate III leading to a Skill Pathway E assessment from TRA is Locksmith.
Those who would like to be added to our database so they can receive updates can send me an email (alan - at - gomatilda - dot - com) with Subject Line: Workplace Assessment - Locksmiths
Best regards.

I was looking at this spreadsheet and note the drop off in tradesmen applying for visas from Sep07 onwards. Significantly less tilers, plasterers, locksmiths, decorators applying. This is a small sample so the overall picture must be much worse. I'm assuming (hoping) that DIAC are also studying these figures and will realise that a form of pathway D must come back soon or trades shortages will only get worse in these areas.
All Locksmiths who want to migrate to Australia should please send me an email so I can update them and add them to our database.
Best regards.
