avreage tmescales for visa granted after co

Hi

Can anyone tell me average times for visa grant from co being allocated?

I had my co on the 5th Dec request Meds which were already received by LCU on the 12/11.
9 weeks gone by now and nothing. my agent has contacted immi and had an auto email saying that our case is with the co.

I see lots of peeps getting visas after our time so beginning to worry

Hi Michelle,

Ours took ages. we were allocated a CO roughly September 07 and got visa granted January 08.... it depends what system you are on.. they are trying to clear cases from both systems now.

We passed TRA in June 07 and were assigned case officer in October. Meds and Police checks both cleared so like you just waiting!!!!!

Well time scales is a bit like the lottery, well thats what i think now as we still have not heard anything any our meds were finalised in Dec 07, our agent says we could still be looking at 8 weeks and were told we should know by Jan08 when applied, this is all slow due to all the changes and so many people wanting to leave the UK!

Appox 100 per day left the UK for OZ last year! so lets all hope we are all part of those figures for 2008.

Notification of Application recieved 26 Oct 07
TRN provided 26 Oct 07
Medicals Done 24 Nov 07
Police done 09 Dec 07
All documents were in by 11 Dec 07
Medicals received by IMMI and Finalised 12 Dec 07
NOW GOING MAD FEB 08!

still not heard anything - will be 11weeks since co requested meds and its slowly driving me crazy

have anyone got similiar timeframe as me. noticed today a couple of peeps getting visas who lodged in Aug.
no logic to this process is there?????
anyway theres always next week!! Ha Ha

tra acc april 07
main app sent received 21 st june
got CO oct 07
meds and pc,s sent mid jan

so also on the big long wait, hubbie is so laid back..wish i could be like that, just says 'we,ll get visa when we get it...helpful..not
this is def worse bit dont you all think, once everything is done and sent and there is nothing more you can do, most frustrating few wks of my life, is like waiting to go into labour, only more painful

Our application (136 visa) was lodged beginning of August 07 and still no case officer, got full acknowledgement and file number in January , but still waiting for CO!! When will we get one! Agent has advised not to get medicals done untill a CO has been allocated.

its a nightmare this isnt it.
our meds were recd at lcu on the 12/11 and cleared on the 6/12. co requested them the day before (5.12.07)
since then nothing
we are modl and Im seeing non modl processed faster - whats that all about

Hi stokey looks like you are in the same position as us.

Had CO since August things were slightly delayed due to problems with hubbies meds, all cleared 5th December.

6 weeks ago additional info requested, that has been with CO for 5 weeks still nothing to report.

Its driving me mad

Did your agent still say another 8 weeks how can that be right on top of them saying you should hear something in January.

What visa are you applying for we are on the old 136 skilled

Take a look at my time line to give you a bit of a idea. we applied online and out status page change to everything 'met' then the ASPC asked for more info

which they had the middle of Jan and still not heard anything. Like the rest of us I'm sooo FED UP.


If they would just let us no one way or the other so we can get on with our lives.
