Electrical Test Vetassess

Hi all
have been granted competency assesment by Vetassess and next stage is the electrical test.
Has anybody done this test yet and what is involved?

Just wanted to say Hi and welcome to PIO. I work in Charlton so know it well. Are you coming to the Essex meeting on 9th March? A bit of a trot but well worth it. We had a great time at the last meet.

Also wanted to bump this up to the top for you as I don't know the answer.

I used to live in charlton and support the team but live in tamworth now so the meeting in essex is a no go

If you type in Vetassess in the search box there is a post on there titled VETASSESS - Electrician Practical what to expect. It was posted by Bernie (might be on second page of posts)

He did the practical with my husband and has done a brilliant post and what they had to do. Hope this helps

I am asking for a friend but how long was it till you heard from Vetasssess after subbmitting the first part of the paper work?

It was really quick for the paper assessment coming through - not quite two weeks. The long wait was for the dates of the practical, we only heard 10 days before the actual date. It was a bit of a rush as it was held in Birmingham after we were originally told it would be London. Had to sort out accomodation PDQ!

When is the next test in London, my husbands got to do it, but he will miss Febs one, we are hopefully submitting 1st part this week, i.s it still every two months

Are you self employed, if so what paperwork did you give to do with selfemployment,
All Peters References that we have state that he way employed by company, but he has been self employed of and on since his apprenticeship.

i think the next test is in birmingham.
i am self employed and had a good cv with loads of companies that were able to give refrences.
it took just 2 weeks to get my vetasses back with a1 pass
