Investing 100K

can anyone advise me please, we are going on an employer sponsored visa which is a long term business visa and are planning asap to apply for our PR and just wondered what happens if we also want (maybe) to invest the 100k aswell ? does this help towards our PR when we apply in OZ, any advice would be great.

Hi Helaine

At the moment it is not possible to do the A$100,000 investment in order to gain an extra 5 points for a skilled independent visa. Basically, none of the State Treasuries are willing to participate in the scheme at the moment and it is not known whether a way to sort it out can be found.

Golly we dont need the extra points as OH is on the ocupations in demand list and we are already coming on a sponsorship visa OH has employee sponsrship and has a job in Brisie, we just wondered when we got there and started the process for our PR would we be able to invest 100k aswell ?
