what happens to your medicals.

Hi All,

Can anyone tell us what happens when you send your medicals in. Do you get an email to say all is ok or not.The reason for the question is i phoned Australia house in London on Friday the 25th of Jan 08 and asked how my meds were coming along and the answer i got was that everything was ok. I then asked has it been sent to ASPC, they said that none of the meds get sent to ASPC , it is down loaded on to a computer for them to look at on the screen. We are doing it alone so we dont what happens now or is it a case that we have to sit and wait.

Regards

marknhelen

Talking

Yup, sit and wait but keep an eye on the situation as our meds went AWOL and couldn't be found which held up our application for a bit! So if you haven't heard anything try e-mailing your CO! All the best, hope you get your visa.

Hi MarkNHelen

If you get the below information from the practise you had the medicals at, then you can email or go online for the LCU (local clearence unit) at australia to establish their have been received & possibly processed:

Request the courier name
Request the tracking number

You don't get confirmation of your medicals - they'll contact you if they need more info. You can send an email to LCU with your names, dob, passport numbers and file reference and they'll let you know if they've cleared.
