Well all i can say is you shouldnt have too much problem with both your trade you will firstly have to pass the tra (australian trade recognition) then once passed that its medicals pretty basic but expensive checking for TB HIV HEART probs then after that its up to the case officer to give you the visa i would recommend applying for the permenant residence visa that way once you get the visa and go to oz you can buy a house little goes to school free if you go on a 457 visa which i think is a temp working visa you cant buy you have to pay school fees and if you decide to stay after the 2years you have to pay put again . Just wait and see there will be lots of people on here that will help you its a great site very friendly .Have you decided to do the prosess your self or use an agent you will save a lot of money if you do the process yourself but if you dont have the time like us we used an agent his fees where £1400 but do be carefull if you do decide to use an agent some charge a lot and are crap but there are agents out there that charge a fair fee and are realy good just put a thread on asking about good agents and you will be well informed by the people of pio who to use and who to stay clear of you may even have an agent near by depends where you live and im sure you will find that there is someone near by you who you dont know but will also be in the process of moving down under just keep posting your threads and all the answers will come your way best of luck do you have any idear of what part of oz you would like to move to.
