Hi to all on Poms in Oz

Well this looks like it could be our last christmas on these shores..(unless we are very unlucky and not be granted a visa), we submitted our meds and police checks few week ago and have been told we could face a 16 week delay, but we ok with that as we can now enjoy christmas with all our friends and family and go out with style

hiya, enjoy your last xmas there, we have been in brisbane for 6wks and loving every minute, but it dosen't feel at all like xmas, dosen't seem right buying sun tan cream and christmas decorations.lol.Wouldn't change a thing thou. Good luck on your move. jane x

Enjoy you last christmas in the UK as its certainly very weird xmas in Oz. This is our first xmas here & i find it very hard to get into my head that its xmas in 5 days sun is shining, hot etc very strange not that im complaining but just very different

Iv'e already started with the celebrations, got friends coming round later, just sampling the beer now... ya no to make sure it hasn't gone off!!!!!

It could be our last xmas and we wanted to make it a really good one (with family and that) but i dont think they are really interested. I think they dont really realise that its coming up so quick and we could be gone in the next few months. xx Nicky
