Anyone Know About Diy Assessment??

Hi everyone, i read a post on here a few weeks ago from someone who mentioned a DIY check service for TRA assessment - i think they said it was about £395+vat and they gave the website details. unfortunately i've lost the bit of paper i wrote info down on!! does anyone know who they are or has anyone else heard of this service and is it any good?
apparently you send them everything and they check it through for you, make sure you've not missed owt and then you can send it off for self-assessment???
sounds a good option if you are wanting to save agent fees and are confident of collecting all the info yourself - just wondered what you all think??

Yep, thats the one - thank you. you would def recommend these people then? seems to me to be a good route to take to save a bit of money - what exactly do other agents do in addition to justify their higher charges??

sorry dont know anything about the diy services but i did my own TRA and passed 1st time (a well known agent told me not to do it yet?)
i think if you have to get all the required info yourself anyway and theres plenty of info on the web site & from the great folks on here that have been through the process, then get it all together keep checking & cross reference from the TRA website then see how you feel when you have it all finished thats what i did then decided to go it alone you may decide to have it checked over but at least you'll have pretty much everything they require

Yes would definately reccommend them a few others have used them on here and we know of people locally who have also used them and all have their visas now.

Our agent walked us through everything

Wrote references for OH's bosses.
Filled all the forms in
certified everything
wrote skills assessment
emailed all forms needed for different stages
We used their credit cards or bank drafts not sure which to send money to pay for different stages
Stat decs

everything.....I have to say though if I had the time or the inclination I could have probably done it myself to be honest, also would have considered DIY option but was not available when I applied.

the other option is to see how much it costs just to have TRA or skills assessment done by a company after that its plain sailing, well compared to skills work.
