2nd Installment for Visa attached to my Pre-grant Letter?

      Hi all

At last I have received my pre-grant letter via email today. However, attached to this letter was a "2nd Instalment Visa Application Charge (VAC 2) Payment requst."

Now, I am confused. I paid my initial fee like everyone else at the time of application. So why are they requesting I pay a 2nd fee of $2765? I checked on their website and it said something about a 2nd Intstalment Charge for those with less than functional english. But I am English! Would it be for another reason? I've emailed them, but its weekend, they are closed now and this is gonna bug me all weekend!

      Can anyone help? Pleeeeeeease !

      Amanda,

Is your partner British too? I'm assuming you're the primary applicant.

      Cheers

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...

Thanks Peter and Cal, Yeah I'm the primary applicant and partner British too! I'm assuming that it is just a mistake.

I am right in saying that we don't have to pay the second installment though aren't I? I'm worried now as I have really not budgeted for this extra cost.

I'll call them Monday! Not only that but they got my address half wrong too!

Biting my nails until Monday now ........

      Ms Amanda

      Dear Amanda

Hi, After reading your mail.i am asnwering you.VAC is charged when main applicant's husband or wife does not clear the IELTS Exam,In this case he pays 2765 AUD$ to australia and commits them they will study about english in australia.or in other hand its a fees of studying english language in australia (514 Hrs of study)
