hi every one hope all is well! the good news is this morning we had a e mail saying we have a co, the bad news is she wants more evidence of my self employment!!! ie profit loss statments. and the dead line is 17/1/08. do you think a detailed statment from our accountant will be enough? has any one else had this request, if so what did you send? good luck everyone.

Hi Leo Congrats on getting a co we are still waiting had meds yesturday all well Thank God.What a pain them needing more info on your selfemployment sorry can't advise you with that we are hoping that they won't want that for my oh cause he's selfemployed to!Where about in portsmouth are you we live in Havant.Best of luck Ali

I would suggest leaving a post aimed at one of the agents who come on her or specifically ask a question about evidence for self employment i'm sure you will get a quick answer.

sorry I can't help you with what you need, they usually (well some lucky people seem to have got thier visas without further evidence)

my agent told me that they have quotas to meet by Christmas and that the checking of applications can intensifiy as they try to clear as many as they can, I also heard that they stop when the reach those quotas! not a happy thought, I want them working as hard as they can right to the last minuite

Congrats on getting a CO. I have posted on this thread so it pops back up to the top of the line. I am unable to answer your question but am interested to know if anyone can give you an answer. My OH is self-employed too and if/when we ever get a CO pretty sure he/she might ask this kind of question too.

hi leo congratulation for the c/o i think its just a little paper you need to supply.anyway just wondering as we were on the same time line we received our acknoledgement on 17/10/07 do anyone think that we already got our c/o coz last week i sent them an email to enquire about c/o there answer was as follows "All applications are processed in the date order that they were received
at our office. Your application has not yet been allocated to a case
officer." so anyone have a clue wether or not we do had our c/o
