Problem with attachments to e457

Hi all,

Just looking for a little advise. We completed the 457 visa application last night on line. Everything was going great, until we had to attach documents. We checked before hand to make sure everything was below 1mb which they were. It says on the website that you can attach 15 docs for the main applicant, 15 docs for the rest of the applicants and 5 photos. The problem we have it would only take 15 docs and not let us put anymore in, so as you can tell, we have a problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks for your time.
The Tuckers

Hi

We applied for our 457 on line and had the same problem. Don't worry we have been allocated a CO and i emailed him to inform that i couldn't attach all my documents, he asked me to scan the missing ones and email them to him. So my suggestion would be sit tight until you get your CO and then email them. Good luck with everything!!

Chrissy

Hi Chrissy

Thanks for the reply it's put our mind at rest a bit more. I think we must have a case officer already, because we have a file number given by the hospital to use on the application. Was yours the same? How long did it take for the CO to get in touch?
Getting excited now as they want us to start at the end of April. The inly down side is that we have to sell the house yet.
Where are you off to and what do you do?
We are off to South Brisbane, the wife is a nurse and has a job at the Princess Alexandra I'll do anything.
Any way, back top work.
Thanks

Well i think we had our medicals before we should I assumed when it came that medicals, xrays ect were required we went ahead and booked them. You get a file number etc anyway i think so you can check progress on line (check mine daily) our CO got in touch about 7-10 days after lodgement at which point he informed us to go for our meds, oops already done!!. There are 4 of us me, OH and 2 boys aged 5 and 18 months cost us £700 for meds which isn't too bad from what i can gather from forum but shop around, they should be sent off this week everything came back ok. We are lucky have sold our house purchaser is willing to wait we are hoping to be gone by February although some people have had their 457s through in as little as 9 weeks ( 4 weeks tomorrow since we lodged) . We are going to Victoria a place called Mildura i soooooo can't wait. I have a nursing post there OH is also willing to do anything too. Take care keep us posted and GOOD LUCK
