Cost of visa and medical etc?

Hi

Could anyone please give me an idea of the costs incurred for skilled visa, medical and anything else that may be required. I am planning on moving with teenager son next year, and trying to judge costs?
Many thanks in advance.

You'll need extra blood tests if e.g. you're a nurse or have tattoos. If there are a number of approved doctors from the list in your area - shop around they won't all charge the same price.

Hi we paid £860 for meds thats 2 adults, 1 child at 13 and 1 child at 9... xrays £70 each for anyone over the age of 11.. blood tests £35 each we had to have them done as OH firefighter and I'm a cook, also if you have tattoo's or piercings and the meds test £125 for anyone over 11 and £55 under 11.. courier £40 (to send meds to OZ) (thats in Manchester)... for skilled visa we went through agent which has cost us around £2500.. skills test £125 .. think thats it... lost count on how much we have spent!!! Oh and police checks £10 each. Then of course there is flights, moving costs, selling your home fees etc etc etc .......
Hope this helps a little ha ha
