Medicals - Huddesfield or Manchester?

OK,

For those of you who have had them done. Is there any difference?

Will it cost the same depending on where you go?

What are the doctors like?
Manchester is nearer but Huddersfield not too far
I have quite a lot of medical history and am looking for some leniency

Many thanks
Bex

we opted for manchester as everything is done in one building ,,you dont have to go anywere else for x-rays.We saw Dr million and he was pretty good with us and kids. You can park in the bays right outside and we didnt have to wait for long ,,good luck

Hi
We went to the docs in Huddersfield (xrays next door at hospital). The doctor who did our medicals was fantastic and made us both feel at ease. She was just sad that so many plumbers & builders were moving to Oz and that if she needed any work doing on her house they would all be eastern europeans who can't speak the Queen's English!
We also contacted the docs at Manchester, but they were far too snobby and they're attitude stunk. The big difference though, is that Huddersfield was far cheaper for meds & xrays. We saved around £150 for 2 meds & 2 xrays.

My advice would be to go to Huddersfield, and with the money you save, you can go xmas shopping!

All the best

Jimbob & Rachel

Hi Bex

Xrays were £52 each and the medicals were £85 + VAT. We also had HIV tests which were £15 each. Not sure how much it would cost for the kids.

Hope this helps you make your choice.

Manchester

Hi,

We are having our medicals done this Friday at St Johns St in Manchester. Myself and my husband and our two boys, aged 7 and 2. Approx costing us £690.

I have had good reports from other people who also had their medicals there.

On the various occasions I have spoken to the secretary she has been polite and very helpful.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Michelle, Paul, Josh & George:)
