Migration agent advice

Hi,

Just looking for some advice from you knowledgable ones. Our situation is that we are in Perth on WHV, i've passed my TRA, got my police checks and now want to get on with getting our skilled independent visa. The agent who I'm using did my TRA and was amazing, the only thing is it's going to cost $5560 to do the visa. With rent and trying to find a car and all the other set up costs were going to run out of cash!!! Is it wise to try and do it on your own? Or do you think we could find a cheaper agent? Starting to worry a bit because I've been offered some really great jobs and would be gutted if it all went wrong now

If the amount you have quoted is just for the migration agent's advice - yes, you should be able to find a cheaper advisor. We are one, for starters.

It says on my letter case preparation, sumission and management until time of decision.

That indicates the amount quoted doesn't include the Department of Immigration's Visa Application Charge.
