Even more depressed now
Just read SAVTA's wonderful news that their CP visa has been granted.

Genuinely very happy for them, but, going on their timeline, then it is going to be December 08 before ours comes through. Another 14 months - and that is on a good day as we lodged ours 14 months after them and the queues are increasing all the time.

Really not sure I am going to be able to cope with such a long wait. Really, really, frustrating, infuriating and upsetting.

Oh I just want to give up and not bother!!!!! Bugger!!!

Talk to CazBeckham on here. (My mum!). She has applied for CPV. Her application was acknowledged on 15/02/2007. They STILL have no case officer but are booking medicals for 21.12.07 anyway! She`ll keep you up to date with her timeline and u can chat then if u want!

My little girl turned 1 last week and everyone I spoke to said god I cant believe shes one wheres the year gone, of course its harder when your waiting for something, one years like ten hehe.

Hi Jean

You are NOT going to give up, love, because I won't allow it.

The 3 most recent grants that the world knows about all had delaying factors in them. The reasons for the delays were different in each case.

WATCH Barbara Townend and Mollyflanders instead. Both of their applications are in the very last stages and their timelines are much more typical of the current norm.

CHEER UP, hon. If you want, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll put you in touch with the CP Support Group as I call it because we ain't got a name for it yet. I'm not keen on a name that sounds like a bandage, so I'm tryng to come up with something better.....

But I can and will put you in touch with REAL friends in this game besides me, if you wish.

Retirement visa holders already have their own group and from what I've heard, it is first rate. I'd like a similar Group for Contributory Parent applicants.

chin up... this yr has flown by... it's nearly christmas then new yr, then theres my birthday - (hint), valentines day, mothers day, easter, fathers day, and back to christmas again....!!!!.... the year sounds short when you look at it like that!! lol
