August applications

Has anyone who applied for 136 visas in august 07 heard anything yet? Mine was received on 6/8/07. I don't have any fingernails left to bite. The knowledge that it is in the system would at least help.

Hiya ours was sent same time and not heard a thing. we checked with agent a couple of weeks ago and they thought it would be at least 12 weeks before we heard anything - so maybe soon - i hope!

Ours was lodged 29 August 2007 and we have not heard a dickie bird. Not even money has been taken. I emailed Agent on Monday and she said they they are currently receiving receipts for apps lodged 31 July 2007. So I doubt you have long to go at all.

Don't forget to let us know when you hear anything.

At least I know i'm not alone. Have had my pc's done as well but will wait till I have acknowledgement before I have meds done.

Yes, we also had PCs done, but OH's came back wrong. So had to write a "nice" letter asking them to change it, pretty please. They had made the mistake had him down as an Estate Manager but he is a bricklayer. Our Agent has advised us not to do medicals until we have file reference number, so just waiting.

Hi Guys our visa app was sent 10th july recived 17th money taken 18th ack and case file No recived last Wed

You have got me worried now as my PC doesn't say anything about what I do. In fact it doesn't say that much, just that there is no information held about me on police records. It came from the National Identification Service at New Scotland Yard. It cost £10, hope it is the right one. They didn't ask me what my job was.

we sent out visa in May and was acknowledged in August with file case number. We have sent off the police checks and medicals were done end of July. Still not got a case officer and we sell out house on Friday and will have nowhere to live!!! AH WELL KEEPS YOU ON YOUR TOES. Now we are looking for rentals which is a bit of a nightmare. OH stayed up till 3.15 and rang them about 3 weeks ago and was told that they had received everything and all was ok, just waiting on a case officer.....!!!

:)Hi. Our 136 application was received in Oz in June. Our agent told us a few week ago there was a real back log and it may be a while before we are assigned a CO.

Today we received a call from our agent to inform us we have a CO and he has passed our application and has requested our Police Checks and Medicals. Yipeeeeee!!! At last.

So hopefully it may be quite soon for you. Good luck.

We loged our 136 in August also and have not heard anything. We have not even done police checks or meds yet - waiting to hear first. Our agent seems to think we may hear next month (hopefully) but who knows..... will keep you posted.
