Packing photo albums

Hello
With 8 and a bit weeks to go i have decided to pack our tea chests, one of them will be filled with photo albums.
Can anyone tell me if they need to be wrapped in brown paper or plastic?
A know its a silly question but i was wondering if they might get damp on the boat and i really do not want to lose them
Any advise would be appreciated
Thanks
Danielle

I didn't do anything special with my photos and albums. Some photos were packed in a plastic box and the albums just went in the card board boxes that the packers used. I'll find out in 3 weeks (hopefully) what condition everything is in!

We didnt do anything special with our photos either. Some were in frames, some in albums others just in the envelope you get them from when you develop them. All ours were fine.

We were advised not to wrap things in plastic because the container will get really hot. We did notice that some of the glue on the back of framed pictures had come 'unstuck'. We just packed our photo's as they were, some were in albums and others just in little paper folders (that you pick them up in from the photo shop) - non were ruined.

Hi
We kept all our sentimental photo's out of the container and just let the guys pack the rest, the sentimental photo's we are putting in our luggage between our clothes in a hard backed envelope. But i do know it get's really hot in the container thats why you cant send any candles etc., over so maybe best not to put them in anything plastic and wrap individually in brown paper.
