Hi,

Just posted off our assessment forms and trade evidence of my husbands bricklaying skills. Anyone else in same position??? - we have been told by agent we are guinea pigs really since the new changes in September. Would love to hear from anyone else in same position. Oh well fingers crossed (we have been quoted 6 - 8 weeks). Then its onto the practical if we pass.

I guess you managed to squeeze through before the big changes then - I wish we had!!! Annoying thing was we had the forms last year but delayed in filling them in as I unexpectedly fell pregnant.

Just passed TRA so we were really lucky. Hope all goes well.

Hi

Welcome to PIO. We also just got in before the changes. My OH is also a bricklayer. We passed TRA 20 August and Visa lodged 29th. Still waiting for a Case Officer too. In fact in the same position as Keily and also going to Perth.

Dear teejaygb, We are in the same boat as you, our TRA was sent back due to pathway D being scrapped. My husband is a joiner with no formal qualifications. We are just filling in the forms to see if it's worth us going any further. We also need to find the extra money as the new test is so much more expensive than TRA. I would be very interested to hear how you get on with the practical test. Good luck Sarah xxxx
