Hi
Can anyone tell me a bit more about case officers (apart from that you have to wait a long time to get one!)
What do they do exactly?

hi vanessa, as far asi am aware they check that yu have sent all the right paper work and that the paper work is valid for yur aplication. If you have not provided enough evidence or you need somethin extra etc they will tell you. I think they are incharge of your case so to speak. If all your application paper work is in order they will tell you when to go for meds and police checks. Although you can do them beforehand. However if you recieve PC s /meds early i think you have to validate your visa within a year of which ever one passed first. I,m no expert though. Hope this helps. Thanks, thought as much.
We are going for a skilled sponsored 176 (pattern maker).
Hoping to go to Brisbane by end of next year. There are more jobs for me though in Melbourne but want to give it a go in Brisbane first. My husband is a nurse (care assisitant) so no pionts for him. Have you looked into nursing in oz?
